Set on a bluff overlooking Yamba Beach on the Pacific Ocean, this relaxed hotel is a 2-minute walk from the Yamba Lighthouse and an 11-minute walk from the Yamba Museum.

In Review

After a wonderful lunch with a mate, I have known since my school days at Potager in Carool (see our review on that also), we headed through the cane fields and down the coast and landed in Yamba late afternoon. It has been over 10 years since we were last here on another road trip when our kids were quite young, and we loved Yamba then and it didn’t disappoint this time.

Arriving and parking right at the front door, security was on hand to assist and guard the car, you immediately had the feeling of welcome, the staff were there to help. Getting to our room we were so excited, brand new, very comfortable apart from the firm bed and the view was to dye for…

A cheeky chardonnay, while we soaked up said view and relaxed, then down to the bar for dinner. It was spacious, organised and felt safe in these unsuasual times, order from the counter and within minutes your meal is on your table. Rarely would I order a burger, however I saw a few float past us and they looked brilliant, so we shared a chicken burger and loved it. Panko crumbed chicken breast, with all the trimmings!

I awoke early and managed to capture the sunset, quite magical at that time of day and from such a fabulous location.

The Pacific Hotel in Yamba did not disappoint, the new reonvations of the rooms, coupled with an amazing postion made for a magical visit, so happy we stayed, we will be back for sure
